Why would I sponsor a promotion
Sponsoring a promotion allows you to send traffic to someone else's promotion and share the data. If you send traffic to a promotion and a fan signs up for it the user who owns the promotino will get the data and you will also get the data.

Who pays for the credits
Currently whoever owns the promotion gets credits deducted when a user signs up for a promotion and an email or sms message is sent out.
How ever if you send a marketing campaign to a fan you got from a sponsored promotion you will be deducted the credits for sending emails or sms messages.
